What?

Rex Grossman has signed a one-year contract with the Bears. Sure, this doesn't seem like terribly notable news, except for one thing: last fall, there were few athletes criticized as much as Grossman around these parts. It was far worse than what Kitna had to deal with. Now, he'll be back competing for the starting job with Kyle Orton and whoever else the Bears bring in. I can't imagine Chicago fans are thrilled with this news.
