Surprise!

According to the Detroit News, the fears of boys and girls basketball being negatively impacted by the scheduling change has come to pass. Who would have thought? Are you saying people don't want to go to a HS basketball game EVERY night of the week? Can't imagine.

You know, I haven't heard anything about this.

Another MHSAA middle-finger to those bastards from the Communities for Equity.

"Baseball and softball coaches are among those not enamored with the proposed plan, which would cut more than a week from the start of their seasons." You think? I really don't like the sounds of the idea. Boys basketball going into April? Talk about being burned out. Besides, first offical practice for baseball is March 10, not to mention the week before when there is no more basketball in CC so the kids can start throwing in the gym.

"We would have better weather to start our season under that proposal, but we have adapted to the weather and practicing indoors. We can get a lot of things done indoors." Okay, I don't know any coach that would rather be indoors when they could be outdoors sooner.
