If you were going to design the prototype football coach, he'd probably look like Bill Cowher. With that jaw he just looked like a football coach. But, after 15 years as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cowher is resigning. He was the longest tenured current head coach and only the second Steelers' coach since 1969. Cowher says he's not "burned out" and may coach again in the future (he's only 49), but for now he wants to spend time with his family and watch basketball since two of his daughters play at Princeton. The Steelers will find another coach, but it will be a long time before anyone else but Cowher looks right standing on the sidelines.
