What took so long

Before this joke gets old, I better get my chance to say it:

(Clearing my throat...) That was the longest baseball game ever. By the time Game 5 ended, I think Jamie Moyer was 72 years old (actually he ONLY turns 46 on 11/18). Wow, 46?!?! When I'm 46, I hope I can still throw snowballs at people in Deckerville after my kids basketball games. (I just realized something, my wife teaches at Deckerville...that was a fun night.)

Even though we've talked about that so many times, I still laugh when I hear that night brought up. Travelling to Deckerville, being most of the CC contingent, the snowball incident, driving home in a blizzard. That was an all-time classic.

Thanks.
