Stop the bleeding!

Brendan Shanahan is leaving the Red Wings and going to New York to play for the Rangers. I know Detroit isn't a great place to live, but this is getting ridiculous. In the space of a week Detroit has lost all of its active major sports heroes. Ouch. If the Tigers didn't have the best record in baseball Detroit fans would be in a deep depression. I think that news pretty much ruined my afternoon.
