I was wrong.

The Lions did make a move to get a QB in the 5th round, but it wasn't McPherson. They went with UConn QB Dan Orlovsky. Not a bad pick: he's 6'4", 238, has some skills, and a cool last name. McPherson went off the board 7 picks later to New Orleans. Great place for a guy with character issues to land.
