Michigan Athletic Director David Brandon would never wear a green tie playing MSU or a red tie playing Ohio State. In fact, he'd probably NEVER wear a green or red tie, not even on Christmas. It's all about perception.
Maybe it's his way of showing he's an MLB guy, not a Tiger guy. That way he can take over Bud Selig's job. Rumor has it.
