Non-Core

You want to know why GM and the rest of the Big Three are having financial difficulties? Here's one reason: they were paying (and still are) $28/hour to the guys who drove the finished vehicles around. That's $58,240 a year (before taxes, assuming no OT) for driving tiny distances. Material movement (fork truck drivers) were making the same. After reading this, I don't understand how GM and the rest didn't fold a long time ago.
