Did everyone realize a remake of Prom Night came out last weekend? Tell me someone saw it. I suppose we could all wait for the DVD release and watch it at Danny and Shirley's.
I was actually aware of this movie a few months ago. I remember seeing something about it and did some research to find out if it was actually a remake. According to most of the comments, it's NOT supposed to be a remake. So, if the movie still blows, could it be considered a remake?
I realize it's not a direct remake, but swiping the title and the basic idea certainly moves it into that neighborhood. Besides, there must be, what, six people that could tell you what the plot of the original was (all I remember is a stabby knife making splorky sounds)?
I'll try to find one, but you remember the awful sound effect used. I'm sure it's never been used in a movie again, unless it involved a plunger and a large clog in a toilet.

That's right, I just typed "splorky".
Now that Adam has had his Deadpool moment....
And just how does "splorky" sound? Can you add a sound bite?

Now if I could only get me comments to appear in yellow boxes...
Now you did it, I had to change my profile picture.
I can't believe we've had 8, now 9 comments about "Prom Night."
In other news, Cass City split with Ubly tonight. The host won 6-2 in game 1 while Ubly picked up the 14-8 decision in game 2.
