Finally

The Raiders have finally hired a new head coach, or rather an old one, Art Shell. They are the last NFL team to fill their head coaching vacancy. Two questions this brings to mind:

1. Does this mean we won't hear any more in the offseason about how awful NFL teams are because there aren't enough black coaches? Is 2/10 enough for the offseason? If not, how many? And aren't you then just asking for a quota?

2. How unappealing are the Raiders? I mean two of the guys that they interviewed elected to work for the Lions instead as either head coach or coordinator. The Lions. They would rather work for the Fords than for Al Davis. Makes you wonder.
