Just how unlikely is it that three former Spartan quarterbacks would get wins in the NFL today? Drew Stanton had his first start since and 2010 helped the Cardinals beat the woeful Giants, Brian Hoyer led the Browns to a surprising victory over the Saints, and Kirk Cousins stepped in for an injured Robert Griffin to smash the Jaguars.

I explained that same thing to my father-in-law yesterday during the Lions game. How many college football teams are there? how many QB's are in the NFL? There are 32 NFL teams and 3 of them had a MSU winning QB. Even Henne and Brady didn't pull that off.

I would think it would be highly unusual to even have 3 QBs from the same school play on any given weekend. USC had a string of QBs (Palmer, Leinart, Cassel, Sanchez) that might have done it but I can't think of many other examples. Maybe Michigan had a window where Brady, Henne, and Navarre could have played?
