So based on the way the last coach left and the current coach is being treated now the "Michigan Way" is to viciously turn on whoever is in charge as soon you're tired of him?

This is a mess. I'm embarrassed to call myself a Michigan fan with the behavior that is taking place OFF the field.
I'm still trying to figure out the animosity towards David Brandon. I get fans/students are upset about the ticket prices, but aren't most colleges doing what Michigan does? Premium games have a higher demand. With higher demand comes higher prices. It's probably not just a UM thing. It's also not just a Big Ten thing. In fact, they started some of the Preferred Seating Programs back when I was still in college with AD Bill Martin. It would cost $2000 just to reserve the seats plus the ticket price for each ticket per game.
This behavior is childish. Look, Hoke is gone at the end of the season, that's no secret. But try to hide a little of the arrogance that is U of M. Please don't go to the president's lawn. It's lame and lacks character. If you don't like something, don't go to the games.
As far as the situation of Shane Morris is concern, I honestly believe Hoke didn't know. I'm going to give his ethics the benefit of the doubt. To me, what did he have to gain by leaving Morris in the 4th quarter with a possible concussion when the game was a blowout? Nothing, so that is why I don't think he knew. I could see the argument if the game was close and he was a crucial piece to winning the game, but the game was all but over. He's not going to risk a players health in a game like that.
The fact of the matter is UM football is not performing. That has nothing to do with the AD. I was a Hoke-guy in August. I was a Hoke-guy after the App St game. I'm no longer a supporter, but give him the rest of the season and then fire him. They are not improving as the season continues. They are going backwards.
At least Rich-Rod improved every year (3 wins, 5 wins, 7 wins, fired).
From what I understand the stuff with Brandon is also about night games and a more "corporate" experience. But guess what? Any AD is going to do the exact same thing. That's college football in 2014.
As far as the concussion thing, it seems to me it was the perfect combination of unlikely events. Morris was already playing hurt. Gardner lost his helmet and they needed someone on the field right away. Should the communication have been better? Sure. But it's not hard to see how things got messed up. Well, it's not hard unless you're trying to wrap Hoke-hate in the cloak of player safety.
