I'm excited. I didn't know who he was, but considering he took the LA Clippers...errrrrr...Ball State and made them competitive, he must know something.
I also like the fact he was the D-line coach when UM won the 'ship in '97.
Besides, just looking at him, he looks like business. Then again, "The Vest" doesn't look like he'd know football, nor does John Clayton.
I'm not sure if Brady Hoke scares "anyone," and I won't mention any college names, but I have a feeling if Harbaugh or Miles would have went to UM, "some" teams would have been nervous. I won't mention names or point fingers, but it wouldn't shock me if they "those schools" had a sigh of relief when they turned down UM.
As someone who has a very strong dislike for Michigan, I can say I only cared about the coaching search to the extent that it provided entertainment. Once Rodriguez was fired I figured there would likely be another year where the program was going to be rebuilding, and after that who knows? Michigan has too many advantages to not be good again sometime and I doubt they'll totally misfire on two coaches in a row, whoever the second one would be.
