I saw an interesting comment on another Blind Guardian video that I thought I'd share here. Usually on a live recording the singer misses notes or in some way sounds different than on a studio release. Hansi Kürsch sounds exactly like he does on the studio albums. That's pretty impressive.
I think they benefit more from a large crowd than any other band I've heard. There has to be a US tour for the new album, we try and snag tickets when they get to this side of the Atlantic.

Check out the Bard's Song for a great example of audience participation. They basically sing the whole song.

Looks like the 2010 tour is all European. I don't want to go that far, even for a good concert.
