RE: Wolverines Dirty Rotten Cheaters

Have to admit I'm enjoying reading UM fan comments (like the ones here) about how everybody cheats, or the writer hates UM, or it's a conspiracy, or the players are wimps, etc. For a Wolverine fan, it's never the Wolverine's fault, there's always an excuse.

One (serious) question: How often does an allegation like this get proven false? I can't think of any time off the top of my head where an investigation turned up nothing.

Here is the bottom line.

Yes, I route for the wolverines however I would probably not define the definition of a Hard core fan. Bottom line is these allegations...true or not, doesn't matter. What this tells you is the team isn't sold out for the coach or the program. What it tells you is mabye the coaching era before was really soft? What it tells you is when a extremely high number kids transfers (like has happened) things are not peachy in wolverine camp. (Sure you are going to lose some when a new coach takes over, but 20+???) What it tells you Sparty is that if a 3-9 team is quote "practicing to much" you can be assured that other "Powerhouse" teams are doing it as well. However in those clubhouses a National championship or a Conference championship is within reach. So who's going to complain then? What this tells you is that if Rich Rod starts has a poor season again...he won't survive it that's for sure. Winning cures everything and nobody can argue when you win.

The Stakes just got higher for Michigan and Richard Rodriguez
