Even if Ian Kinsler (Doesn't that sound like a name for a Bond villain?) is mediocre for the rest of the season, has he already made the trade for him look brilliant?

He's making Big Dave D look great. Finally, the lead-off hitter we've been missing.
But, do you get the feeling we spent so much off season addressing the line up and not enough attention on the "log in our own eye" known as the bullpen? NOTHING was shored up for the bully and it has already been an issue in April.
I realize Joe Nathan was still a "Tiger Killer" even in a Tiger uniform, but Joba "the Hut" Champerline was never a solution to anything in the bullpen. That was a waste of MLB office paperwork.

I wondered about that too. I didn't know exactly where Nathan was at, but I assumed he wasn't still dominant enough to solve their problems.
