You can't trust the Detroit Lions because of games like this. It was all there for them, and they threw up on themselves.
The consensus today is pretty clear: Megatron dropped too many balls, the Lions made some really dumb plays, Stafford makes too many bad decisions with the ball, and Schwartz needs to go because many of the issues can be traced back to him. What else is there to say?

Why do the Lions parallel the Cowboys in so many ways? Is Stafford becoming more and more like Romo?
They keep talking about Dallas saying "Romo's not going anywhere..."
Why not? Because he's won all those playoff games?
Lions are top 5 in turnovers and penalties...perfect receipe for disaster.
Back in August, the Over/Under for the Lions record was 8-8. Interesting. On paper, NO ONE would have picked the Under. However, if you are a Lions fan, you can see why it's a tough prediction.
But what about this...no one knew in August the Packers and Bears would be without their starting QB for half the season. What would it have been if they knew Rogers and Cutler would be out significant games?
Ryen Russillo had a stat that said something like Stafford had the second worst 4th quarter QBR behind only Brandon Weeden. Yikes.
The comparison to Romo is pretty apt. Both struggle with the game on the line in the 4th quarter. Both seem to not be held accountable by their respective teams. Both are too talented to replace. And both wear their hats backward. Colin Cowherd had a take on the backward hats thing being a sign of immaturity and I think he might be on to something. You know who doesn't wear his hat backwards? Peyton Manning. Of course, he might not be able to find a hat that fits his giant head.
Yeah, Colin was definately not supporting the backwards hat fashion statement.
