Beat me to it. I think this is my most anticipated movie ever. The Phantom Menace might have been a bigger deal just by coming out, but I expect this to be a fantastic movie and potentially one of my top five favorites, so I think it wins. No pressure.
I've been looking ever since Friday when I read that it was supposed to be in the trailers for Harry Potter. It finally hit online.
I'm also highly anticipating it, but I liked Dark Knight so much, I'd almost rather them stop now.
Part of me is glad I'm not a comic book guru because I can just enjoy the movie. I don't have to worry about how a movie flows with a book. I guess ignorance is bliss in that regard. I really liked Green Lantern, but after reading some reviews and seeing the extra scene after the main credits, you are right, that was a major development that wasn't set up well in the movie. A non-GL follower like myself had no idea about Sinestro's character. Whereas people in the know would have been expecting him to "turn to the dark side" and yet they didn't really foreshadow that in the movie.
"Begins" was great and that got me geeked for "Dark Knight" which was Top 5. Good thing this will be the last in the Nolan franchise because I don't know how you can keep topping the others.
