Tecmo Bowl is making a
comeback in the form of
Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff on the Nintendo DS. So, how many DS's did I just sell with that statement? Anyway, the game doesn't have the NFL license, so there will be lots of customization available instead. Can it live up to the fabled TSB?

Sweet. Cool logo too. Are we so lucky that we were able to grow up during the days of "Tecmo Super Bowl" for the NES? I'd really like to know my opinion of TSB if I wasn't a sports fan or if I didn't like football. To steal a comment from the link, would I "play the heck out of that game" if I wasn't a huge sports/football game fan? It amazes me when I talk to someone about old school Nintendo and they don't fit the typical stereotype of an athlete, but when you mention "Tecmo," you have an INSTANT bond.
That image makes me laugh. They should do a movie and the final fight sequence is between the hero and villain and just before things heat up, the villain says, "Have you ever played 'Tecmo Super Bowl?'" And the hero would be like, "Ah, man, that was the greatest game ever! We should go play." And then the movie would end with everyone happy and no more fighting or violence as the two "square-off" in their final "fight" playing TSB.
Seriously, if our kids aren't having Tecmo Tournaments, they'll never be part of "The Club."
In another note, we picked up our first conference baseball win of the year. We beat Reese 6-0 in game 1 and lost 3-2 in game 2. What a night. Our record is now 6-11 and 1-5 in the league.
