NFL Roundup

A quick recap of some stories in the NFL:

The Competition committee has voted to ban the "horse-collar" tackle. This will probably end up being known as the Roy (Cowboys) Williams Rule as he seriously injured 4 players last year using this move. Roy's opinion of the rule: "Crazy."

Jerry Rice, widely known as the best receiver in Tecmo Super Bowl, has signed a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos to compete for the 4th WR position.

Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com dismantles Kellen Winslow Jr. in an article here. A quote:

Suddenly, the self-proclaimed "soldier," who will have played just two games during his first two seasons in the league, looks more like a soldier of misfortune. The "Warrior" is wounded, "The Chosen One" a chucklehead.

Also, Len talks about the secondaries in the NFC North here. It's a good read.
