Toyman

I got a kick out of this article, specifically the pictures which show Harrison Ford with an armload of Indiana Jones toys that he's just purchased. It's especially funny when you consider that Ford would have been able to buy an action figure with his likeness (Han Solo specifically) for a large portion of the last thirty years. "...I thought that was closer."

Figured I might as well post this, since I mentioned it earlier:

If nothing else, the moment with the shadow of Indy putting on his fedora is perfect. I've found watching this trailer a couple of times has sparked a dormant interest in Indiana Jones gear: fedora, jacket, whip, etc. If you're interested in any of this stuff the place to go is, appropriately enough, IndyGear (which proves yet again that if you're even a little interested in something, there's a community of intense fans to be found on the internet). U.S. Wings also sells jackets here.

Indiana Jones...

...and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull now has a trailer available at Yahoo. Despite the fact that I'm a big Indiana Jones fan, I haven't been all that excited about this movie. This trailer helps. I'm not sold yet, but I think I'll be checking it out. If nothing else, it gives me a great excuse to pick up a fedora.

Wow.

I was out running errands at Wal-mart this morning and happened to see this:

I was a big fan of Legos as a kid and would have went nuts if something like that was available. I mean, a giant rolling tank and a robot to fight it? It might have been more than a kid could stand.

By the way, did you know they're making Indiana Jones Lego sets now?

Madness.

Interesting

Could Shia Lebouf be the hero in new Indiana Jones movies after Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? It's not even a rumor yet, but... fascinating.
